Trip Planning

Over the years, we have collected hundreds of resources that we give to our guests with a confirmed booking.  We will point you to the right hotel, restaurant, or rafting company so you can stop searching and enjoy the time dreaming about your trip. For guests who want to see all of Yellowstone, this knowledge is especially important, as the logistics of the 2-million acre national park are overwhelming.  In order to see the entire park in such a short amount of time, we need to be efficient and organized.

Running Water Restrooms

This being a remote national park, the facilities are mainly outhouses. We know where all of the 5-star restrooms are in Yellowstone, so you don’t have to go in a dark and dank outhouse.  Need a place to wash your hands?  We’ve got you covered.

Custom Itinerary

Your input ensures your guide designs the day according to your interests.  You go at your family’s pace-whether you want to linger with that moose or move along to find the next amazing sight.

Private & Exclusive

A tour for just your friends and family ensures a memorable day for you alone.  You won’t be stuffed in a vehicle with strangers or have to smile when they show you photos of their cat.

Food for the Day

Hot breakfast, a gourmet picnic lunch, snacks, and bottled water take care of your needs throughout your day with us.  These are two days when you don’t have to worry about keeping everybody fed.

Family Photos

With our iPhone photo package, you’ll go home with the best photos of your vacation.  Your guide will capture the whole family and share the photos, so you can have your Christmas card shot.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I see wolves and bears?

Although wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, the Lamar Valley (in the northern part of Yellowstone) is the best chance to see it in the whole park.  Four of Yellowstone’s eight wolf packs live in this valley. The largest bison herd in North America calls it home. Going through the area is a true wildlife safari.

What do we do about lodging for the overnight?

We give our guests the lodging recommendation for Cooke City.  We have a couple of different options that we work with, based on availability.  We will suggest the right fit for your group.  You can book the lodging on your own, or we can book it for you and add it to the final tour cost.  We provide this service to our guests to make planning easier.

Why do we stay in Cooke City for the night?

The morning of the second day is a wildlife safari and Cooke City is the closest gateway community to the Lamar Valley.  Staying overnight there allows us unparalleled access to the valley for a wildlife safari.

Not to mention that Cooke City is an adorable small mountain town with excellent cabins, nestled among towering peaks and shadowy forest.
